It is a definity R4 where we specifically cannot dial out to a Florida area code 352 #...
Trying to make a long distance call to area code 352 only part of the # displays on the screen. We get intercepted by BELL. If we connect right onto a trunk to make this call it works not a carrier issue.

Cannot run a list trace to track a denial event as this is a very ancient release. Please someone help with steps needed along with syntax of commands necessary to make the changes so the site can dial 352 area code out to Florida...

maybe it's in an hpna table. what part of the number displays on the phone? maybe "change hnpa 352"?

Does abbreviated-dialing have anything to do with it? NAd change hnpa isn't a working command.

What is the local area code for this location? your route pattern does not show an entry for NPA

we are in Missisauga dialing from a 905 area code to a Florida area code 352

i would assume the NPA in the route pattern should be 905, but, do calls using route pattern 2 work as well?

sounds like there is some kind of digit conversion going on here ...BELL is not seeing the numbers that you think you are sending...
what is the error message from BELL?

if 7 digits are showing on the display, 352 is in the hnpa table. Not sure of the exact syntax so try using the HELP key. Maybe "change ars hnpa 3" ?
