Just starting working with Definity. The switch has a dell keyboard with a monitor for programming. The keyboard is missing keys that the definity keyboard has, where can I find a chart that show the different keys and how to convert.
thanks
Neil
Most Avaya systems are using Avaya site administration these days not like the old terminals. Once you get into ASA you can hit the "help" to find what the programming options are.
When is the last time you helped someone, just because you were able to?
For the best response to a question, read faq690-6594
In a pinch you can use putty to ssh to the IP address of the server (or telnet from a command window if its enabled on the switch) You will need to use w2ktt as the emulation instead of vt100. ASA is the best way to go though. If you don't see the software CD laying around anywhere, contact your Avaya business partner.
The problem is on the Dell keyboard there is no help key I can type help and it will go to the first page of help but cannot go beyound--if I move a station by using the change command after typing in the new port location how do I get it lock in, again I do not have the correct keyboard
thanks
