Definity G3 number port

Hello All;
I looking for a little assistance with a small issue. I have two (2) phone numbers in my PBX that have been ported over to a circuit presently going into my PBX. I'm not sure how to change the ARS or Trunks and allow the numbers to ring. Where do I connect the dots to activate the ne numbers?

Assuming these are incoming calls that you want to redirect to different numbers:

If the numbers are part of your DID trunk group and are included in your dialplan analysis table, just add either a VDN or station.

If the numbers are part of your DID trunk group and are not included in your dialplan analysis table, you can use the incoming call handling table (either part of the TG or separate - depending on your software load) to send it to whatever VDN or station you want.

If the numbers are CO lines (not DID), on the trunk group form you can define the incoming destination.

The DID numbers are currently going to a Station. Once they're ported over to the Circuit, i'm still somewhat foggy om completing the connection!!!!
 
Like Kevin said - incoming call handling treatment is the table you want to go to. It is where you define "if the provider sends 5555 as the dialed number, route that to phone 1234"

That being said, if you have a 4 digit dial plan and the provider sends you 4 digits and you have station 5555 and the provider sends 5555 as the dialed DID, you have to do literally nothing to make the PBX associate that together.

Sometimes the provider sends 7 or 10 digits, and you have a simple rule in that incoming treatment table to say "if you receive 10 digits beginning with 888-777-XXXX, then delete the leading 6 digits", that will leave you with the 4 digits that should exist as extensions somewhere in your system.

Does that clear it up a bit?

Figure out which of those trunks has your inbound numbers... then do a "list tra tac 11" (assuming TG# 11-VZ Enterprise), and call the DID. Check the digits coming in.
Are they matching your dial plan? Do they need some digits trimmed or added? If you need to trim the digits, you can either tell the carrier to send less DNIS or you can tell the switch to do some incoming call treatment:
do a "cha trunk 11" and look for the Incoming Call Handling (first few pages) (or on the newer switches "cha incoming- trunk 11". From there you can remove and add match patterns to manipulate the DNIS.
