Definity DS1 ISDN trunk into a Cisco 2811

attempting to set up a trunk group to route from the DS1 over to a cisco 2811 and run voice thru it - anyone know how to set up the trunk, signal and ds1 board on the definity? I've tried numerous combinations with the trunk form can't get the signaling channel up... this is a great site - thanks to everyone for their posts and experience !!!

You generally set it up just like any other ISDN T1. The main difference is you should set the Definity DS1 to "host" mode. On the DS1 screen in the "Connect" field, set that to "host". Then your Definity appears to be the CO side to the Cisco equipment. I have a Definity connected this way to a couple different devices, works great. Your other settings and D channels need to match and it should come up in service.

could I perhaps get a print of your ds1, signaling and trunking configs and your cisco interface configs to stare and compare...?

I don't have a Cisco device attached to my Definity. I have several other types of equipment, direct-connected to my definity via ISDN. Here is my DS1 config, signaling group and trunk group information for one of my T1s. Note on the DS1 form, protocol version "b" is NI-2, and "a" is AT&T/Custom. Either wiil work as long as both ends match.
