Definity Consoles

Customer of mine has two consoles in their system. One consoles has not been working for years. The customer just brought two new consoles. The first one worked right away, the second console only shows warning lights no display no buttons working just the lights that are labeled as warning lights up. This is a hotel, try pluging in a digital phone as I hit the buttons I do get tones but again no display or anything working. The consoles 301C2, both consoles work in the first jack both power supplies work. help

Well, by plugging it into port 1 you proved the console good. I would busy out and release port 2 since its been so long since a console has been on that port, and check the assignment for "attnd 2" make sure it's still there. You may also have a bad port..might try switching ports..can't be anything to serious..your sure both power supplies work right?

On the Left side of the Console is a little white button. Use a pencil and depress this button.

Just a vague thought, is the handset/ headset connected in the banana plus on console. might possible, you tried console(2) at position 1 with handset & it worked? I may be wrong but worth a check.
