Definity Audix SA login problem

I'm trying to dailin via the modem and administer my Definity Audix. I'm able to login as craft. However when I try to bring up the terminal emulation session, I get the message "Access via this login is only available through the web, ADAP or console".

Can anyone tell me how I can get around it? Thanks.

You have a Intuity LX model, you have to set up a ppp connection to access the VM and then once that connection is made you bring up a web browser and enter the ip address of the VM.

What do I need to do to allow SA or Craft to login via the modem? Is there a setting I can modify? I can login but when I start the emulation, I get the message "Access via this login is only available through the web, ADAP or console.

Do you have access to this VM other then dialing in remotely or is someone on-site that can verify that this VM can be accessed remotely. Make sure that the remote sappp password is set up first.

I can access via the VM login account. The voicemail is on a card in the switch so I don't think it's an Intuity. I've access similar voicemail via a SA account so I know it's possible. Anybody knows what I need to turn on to allow this to work?

There is no sa account on D-AUDIX. Just cust and vm for the customer, craft as the dealer. Do you have the cust password?


And, you state that the system responds with "Access via this login is only available through the web, ADAP or console". That's not a typical response from a D-AUDIX as far as I can remember. That is EXACTLY what an Intuity Audix LX will answer with when attempting to access it via ASA. We're hearing two different things from you and trying to understand which is which.

You're right rockspop, I'm using craft on the D-Audix but I am still getting the "Access via this login is only available through the web, ADAP or console" message. I'm able to dialin and use craft on other D-Audix with no problem. Hopefully there is a setting that just needs to be flipped.
