Definity Audix R4.0 Problem

maybe someone has a idea on this, Definity Audix 4.0- Mo_disk always MINOR alarm & when I use "add mo-disk" command have "Hardware unit fault" respond. I already1)replace the mo-disk(It's empty for backup use ).(2)shutdown & restart the Audix.

What is the error code? have you done a status mo yet? this might tell you a few things.

I would suggest that the drive and not the disc is faulty.
This is a common problem. If as suggested you check the error number you will know if this is the case.

M0_DISK Alarm Leavel "MIN" Fault Code 1
Maintenance Book tell me replace the Mo disk or check cable or replace TN568.it's all I rechecked except replace Tn568!!

Is this a new Audix or has it been working fine before this error?, Sometimes reseating the Drive will clear up the problem, if after this you still have the problem then replacing it sounds like the only option. If this is an existing drive, has any translations been changed and if so what was altered?
