Looking at replacing the MFB on a customers Definity Audix R 3.2. When I dial into the SWITCH, in list con all, it shows this circuit pack as a TN566 V7, but when I dial into the AUDIX itself, it shows as a TN567 V7.

How is this possible? Wouldn't the card type be the same in both reports, or is there some strange trickery in use that I am not aware of??

It is a TN567 but the switch recognizes it as a TN566. The TN566 would have 3.1 software.

Ok, so that explains that, thanks!

You state the TN566 would have 3.1 software, even though when logged into the Audix, its a 3.2. Is this just another "the way the switch sees it" deal?

Yeah it may depend on the release of switch you are running but that doesn't know about the TN567. If it's an older switch which it sounds like it then it probably wasn't up to speed with the TN567 therefore only recognizes it as a TN566.
