Definity 715 sat

I replaced a defective 715 sat and the replacement unit needs horizontal adjustment. I can only see n: where I should see login: There are no vertical or horizontal controls on the unit. How do I make those adjustments on the screen of the terminal. I am logging in as 513 type which is default.

was it 'shift' F1 to get to the setup screens of the terminal?

I do have a clue. Never had to research this before. I will try that next time I am out to site. I searched Avaya support site and came up with nothing.
