Hi there,
I'm just a new PBX engineer here in New Zealand and inherit a NEC 2000 IVS PBX, currently using Matworx32 version 7.0.2.

Need a help on adding in a dialing plan. We need to dial a 5 digit access code to our Telco lines in order to get the US 0800 number, the pbx does not recognize when we dial the 5 digit code but if dial directly from a stand alone land line it will work. Need to know where to set this thru Matworx to allow the codes to be recognize when we select a line to dial.

Thanks heaps!

hi;

as the work involved relates to lcr tables and digit addition patterns, you are best to leave it to someone who is more than a "new PBX engineer". (no offence intended, just trying to save you some possible grief)

if you are familiar with command 200 and relating this to command 8A then all should be ok.

If you get stuck, best call a NEC rep in NZ.

Thanks.

I can probably help you through this need to know what the folloing is?

What number are you dialing to access your LCR?
200 > That number > this is the LCR pattern.

What is your patterns set to in the following...
A26 = 8A40X Check in 8AA00>0>?
A27 = 8A40X Check in 8AA00>1>?
A28 = 8A40X Check in 8AA00>2>?
A29 = 8A40X Check in 8AA00>3>?

What number are you dialing and how should it go out?

Answer these and we will have a starting point to get this done for you.
