Hi all , I am a new user to TSM and I have to backup to a mounted filesystem on an aix system - where can i define the backup location or mount point of the filesystem to backup to disk . I have the aix connected to a disk array there is no tape library involved . Any help would be greatful .
Thanks

see help define stgpool, create some new the backuppool volumes in the mount filesystem of diskarray, and u can delete the default volume.

thanks cameltower since this post i have become a lot more famiuliar with tsm and have backup to disk down - cheers
you are correct however simply specifiy the location of the backup in your predefined storage volumes housed in a storage pool at the backup copy group level
