I'm trying to use VNC to get to the terminals from the server. Does anyone know if there is a default password when they're setup? I'm guessing no one changed it, so that's my best bet!

thanks!

Normally there is no password. If they have a password, I'm going to bet it was installed by CAL. Check the CAL packages to see if the password is inside the CAL package.

Password"=hex:6d,54,56,84,90,a9,df,1b

translation? :)

Well huh.. I don't know if its just a character set I'm missing or your people put in a really crazy password but that apparently is mTV„©ß

Those are definitely invalid characters in there. Which VNC client are you using? It might be that when configuring the client there is a way to configure it using the hex.

Are they CE devices? If you want I can post our CAL packages and you can drop those in... for CE devices, it is no password, and for Win32 devices it sets the password to Micros3700. Then we connect with TightVNC.

Are you on Micros 3700?

Yes, 3700 and it appears to be using UltraVNC Viewer.
In the "Server" field, is there a particular port I should be putting in?

The Win32 package I use works fine on WS6, and any other Win32 devices we've tested (Yuno, PCWS2015, PCWS2010). The CE package is confirmed to work on WS4LX-WS5A as we have never tried on a WS4. We've had no issues getting the DC package to work on any KDS device models.
