Default to icon rather than tile

All,

Is it possible to set Windows XP to defualt to ICONS rather than TILES when browsing folders

i don't know if its possible to set icons to the default but if you take the time to change the setting in all the folders that you commonly visit then they should stay that way in the future.

Tools, Folder Options, View, Apply to all Folders
