I did fresh install of IIS, the WSUS. When I installed WSUS I told it to creat a new website, it uses port 8530. I can browse to from a remote machine, however when I remove the port number and use I get "page can not be displayed. Now, when I am on the server I can use or to browse both sites. The only time this doesn't work it when I am on a remote machine and only the default site. Does anyone have any ideas, I don't know much about IIS. TIA

Try using a host header directed to port 8530 in IIS.

Hi, do this from the internet service manager console (admin tools). The suggestion of Homersim2600 is good.

Hope this helps. Please let know if this resolve your issue

Why would I add host headers to the second site if it works fine? The default site is the one not working. I am just asking, not trying to second guess you guys.

Hi, I understand you perfecly. No offense taken, you wouldn't have replied.

The second might be in conlict somehow wityh the first site. Are the 2 sites set to "all unassigned" if so, on one of the sites, specify the IP address.

Hope this helps. Please let know if this resolve your issue
