Default route fixed 1

hey,

SCO openserver 5.
I set the default route with route change default XXX.X.X.XXX.

Now after a several time (I think a few days). I loose that route. He goes back to the route there was before.

How can I say to SCO that this route is permanent.
Also I think he looses the new route when starting up.

Our SCO OpenServer has been up for 103 days straight, only time we reboot is because of power failure lasting more that the time on the UPS.
 
Well, Unix has a lot of pointers, due to diferent reasons, some of those pointers, at times, start pointing to the wrong place which make the computer do extrange things, a reboot clears this situation.

Like I said, it is my two cents worth.

PD. In my site ALL computers are reboote weekly, it is a company policy.
 
Thanks for all of you that helped me to finished this problem.
I did the what cdlvj proposed and now we are about 30days later and everything is still works fine.
