Not sure if this is a Citrix or a Terminal Server question but here goes:
I am in the UK, the Citrix server is in the US. In the UK we use a paper size of "A4". All autocreated printers are created with a paper size of "letter". Is there way to get them to autocreate with a paper size of "A4"?
I have tried changing the printer properties - but the next time the printer is autocreated it is back on "letter".
This will be a real pain for my 2000 users in Europe!

Since Citrix keys in on the printer name, you might want to try creating two sets of the printers that you expect your European clients to have (i.e. Brand Printer and Brand Printer - A4) and set the default properties on the second to load A4. (I haven't tried this -- only theorizing based on reading in this forum and elsewhere) Your European users will have to create a definiton with the 'A4" name.

It's clunky and untested, but if they have to make a change once instead of each time they log on to Citrix, it may be worth considering.

Thanks for the reply.

I think we have now found an alternative solution. You need to set the "regional settings" for the Citrix/NT user id account to "English (United Kingdom)". Because our Citrix connection goes through this account it picks up this information about the user. It may mean that we need a different generic id for each country.

You need to setup the printers you wish to use on the terminal servers (only once - each) and set the paper size through the properties field.
