We are using Citrix in an Windows 2000 server environment with Metaframe XP FP3. When users log in, their default network printer has changed to another network printer. All users have unique logons, etc. This is causing extreme havoc across the enterprise. Any ideas?

We are also facing the same problem. As a workaround we are manually editing user profiles and making them mandatory. You can try this for a few users.

We use a login script that maps our users printers and network drives by group. It works very well and isn't too hard to setup. We use kixstart which I believe was freeware. There are a ton of sample scripts out there that you can modify.

I highly recommend this for network printers.

Isn't there a hotfix on Citrix's web site for this issue?

Cheers,
Carl.
