i'm trying to login to one of my client's PIX501 GUI. I know the telnet, admin and enable passwords, but none of them work. I've also tried pixuser/cisco and vice versa. Nothing works. What is the default userid/pw combination for the GUI? If that doesn't work, how can I reset the GUI login/pw?

thanks in advance,

The GUI uses the enable password. Username is [BLANK].

hey, thanks for the input, unfortunately that doesn't work for me. I didn't set this pix up, so I'm wondering if whoever did reset it to something other than the default.

next ?, how do I reset the GUI userid/pw?

the thing is that I know the telnet/admin/enable passwords and have verified all of them to be working. I don't want to have to take the PIX offline to do a PW reset when I really have access to it. I just would like to be able to get into the PDM interface remotely because it would make my life a little easier. None of the user/pw combinations I've tried have worked, so I guess I'm giving up on it.
Any other suggestions?

Have you tried disabling and re-enabling the http server for the interface/networks you want?

http server enable
http 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 outside
