Default Password for Merlin Magix 1

I have a system that I need to get into, they guy we paid to install it didn't give us any documentation. I am sure that he didn't change it from the default. Does ayone know it? I think it is like craft something.

If you are refering to logging in remotely with WinSPM, try craftr4.

For some reason WinSpm is now acting up. I try to dial into the switch, get transfered by the operator and then keep getting a carrier was not detected error. I have set the modem speed on both WinSPM and in device manager. Is there anything else that I should try?

I think maximum baud rate is recommended to be 2400. You could try setting for 1200. You can also try turning off error control and flow control. Also, when you get transferred you will hear carrier tone and then the tone will change pitch after 5 seconds or so. Wait until you hear this change of pitch then hang up the handset of your phone and your modem should then connect.
