This is just a minor annoyance, but it has me curious as to why it happens.
I recently decided to "pretty up" my personal e-mails, by selecting an interesting font "Comic Sans MS" at a 14 point size, and, I added in a stationery background. This combo does make the usual default dull background and text more pleasant, in my view.
I set the new elements in the Tools>Options>Compose window, and now when I go to create a new message, the background is there, as is the new font I'm using. But, the font insists on showing up as a 12 point font, not the 14 which I've selected. Of course, I can change this in the dropdown field to 14 each time. But I just can't fathom why it insists on defaulting to 12.
I assume that there is a Registry entry somewhere which controls this. So, possibly editing that to 14, if it indeed is set at 12 there, would fix the problem.
Anyone have any ideas why the 14 point I've selected insists on reverting to 12 when a new message is created?
