We have a hybrid network comprising of NT4 domain controllers and windows 2000 servers. Most of our workstations are Win 2k pro SP3.

We have a citrix farm that is running Win2k Servers and Metaframe XPa.

What I want to know is if a users logs in to a citrix XP session where is their default citrix profile is stored.

Thanks.

The default Windows 2000 profile is held at

C:\documents and settings\Default User

For Windows NT its held at

C:\winnt\profiles\default user

The first time a user logs in they will be given the settings from the default user folder. Their own will then be created based on that folder.

If you want all users to get the same desktop icons etc then you can make changes to the All Users profile held in the same place as above.

Users own profile settings are held at the same place as above but only if the terminal service profile path is blank on the users account otherwise the profile held in the terminal service profile path set on the user account. The All Users profile and Default user profile will still be held on the C:\ drive
