Greetings,

I have a problem on a machine that is configured with Mozilla as default browser. Whenever IE is launched on that machine, it asks if it should be the default.
That was fine the first time, but I checked the "do not ask again" box and clicked the No button, expecting to have seen the last of that question.
No such luck. Every time I reload IE, it asks again. Every time I tell it NO and don't bother me again, but it does.

Same thing with the dialog box when submitting info to the web. I get the warning box about the dangers of sending info, check "don't ask again" and click the YES button.

Every time I restart IE, I have to go through both boxes.

I am local admin of the PC (Win XP SP2), so I just don't get it. I have never seen this behavior before.
What can I do to make those dialog boxes disappear for good ?

Pascal.

You say you are the local admin... but are you logging on locally, or are you logging on to a server / domain? If you are, you probably need to have admin rights on that, too.

Hope this helps,
Dan

On internet tools > programs did you uncheck the box saying that IE should check to see if it's the default browser?
