Hello, I have a service request open with Avaya to address this problem and it's going nowhere very s-l-o-w-l-y. I now have 10 DECT stations deployed in a two-story, 44,000 square foot clinic, and am still getting some RTP errors. I've attached screenshots of 1) AirSync Overview, 2) RTP Event log, and 3)individual "No Media Data Received" error.
The AirSync Overview looks OK, right? All green buttons and only a few errors? I would like to see signal strength between stations to be less than -60 dB but that's the best I can do right now.
My question for Avaya is, and that they haven't been able to answer yet, is very simple: how do these "No Media Data Received" errors affect phone calls? The most persistent complaint from end users is that their phones don't ring but will display "X Missed Calls".
One other thing, the UDP-RTP port range in the DECT stations is 16384-32767 but in the IP Office it is 46750-50750. Avaya said these ranges should match. But is this relevant? The ranges don't overlap at all but 98% of the calls still go through.
If there are any DECT vets out there I'd greatly appreciate if you could chime in!
Thanks.
