I had some problems getting the Dect base station setup and discovered one helpful item I thought I'd share. The issue I had was accessing the base station after changing the ip address. My browser would hang after changing DHCP settings from automatic to disable. The fix-- press the reset button on the back of the base station and you're back in business. After updating the boot and firmware to 6.0.23 the issue goes away. But if you update the firmware before changing the ip address you have to press the reset button after uploading the boot and firmware file and restarting.
I am installing 24 bases on this project. To make it quicker for me to update and setup, I have chosen to update the firmware from my laptop first after the defaulting the base. Then I give each base its permanent ip on the network and set it aside to work on the next. My own little assembly line. :)
Good luck on your install.
