Need your help guys, we have this problem with BP250 DECT phone users wherein they encountered static noise/buzzing sound on their cordless phone. We have tried to change the cordless phone of the users who encountered the issue but they still experience the same issue. Then, we have also tried to change one of the base stations near to the most users complaining this issue but we still receive complains after that. We also restarted the whole system to check if it can resolve the issue but still no luck. The issue is intermittent, and we encountered it also for internal and external call when we did testing. The issue only happened recently. Any idea what could be the issue? Thanks.

Hi Guys, really need your help as we are already out of ideas on how can we troubleshoot and resolve this DECT issue. Any advise will be much appreciated. Thank you.

sounds not like a software issue and when you still have changed bases and phones I would
try to change the ICCU-2 and make some tests.

Thanks for your reply. Just to clarify, if we change the IC-CU2, what are the things we need to consider? Currently, the system has IC-CU2, two IC-LU cards and six base stations. In BMS, we can see 210 cordless but only 166 are with assigned numbers. We understand that we can back up the data from the IC-CU2 and restore the data but how about the license or the number of users? If we change the IC-CU2 card, how can we reflect the same number of users and base stations? Actually, we tested in our lab, but in BMS part we can’t see the same number of users and after we restore the data, our base station can’t be detected. We haven’t tried changing IC-CU2 card before, that’s why we are not sure if we did it correctly. Are you able to advice on the steps or things needed to check on how we can change the IC-CU2? Thanks again.

-the bases are not licensed, just limited by the amount of ICCU-2 and ICLUs
-the portables are licensed by the FECU on the ICCU-2. You have a /7, that means max 210 portables.
-if you don´t have a cordless fecu in your lab you only 8 portables there

I don´t have an advice but normally you make a backup of the system AND the ICCU-2, change the
ICCU-2 and initialise it with the backup.

Thanks, this info is very useful.Yes, the customer has FECU on their IC-CU-2, and it's a/7. And your right, our card don't have FECU, so now we understand why we didn't get the same number of users. Can we transfer/use this FECU to the new IC-CU2 card? Thanks again.

yes, the fecu should be connected to the new ICCU-2 before initilisation.
