Hi Guys,

A customer has asked me if he can take his cordless phone (3720) to another site of theirs, and connect automatically (or easily) to that system and function as their own extension.

All sites are running their own IPO 500v2 with SCN between each site with R9.0.4 s/w. and each site has their own DECT Aerial's with their own SARI certificates.

And how would this work with endpoint licences etc, if it is possible?

Hope you can help, thanks.

You can register the phone upto eight (I believe) separate systems.
If set to auto the phone will change automatic to another network if in range.

Thanks for the reply.

So do I need to register it on each sites master aerial, and would I set it up as the same extension or a new one?

Also, would it need an endpoint on each IPO?

I have never tried id but zi think you can use any extension number on any site and yes you need a ip phone license on each site.
it would be easier if you register all DECT base stations on one system and create a sync master per region.
Then there is one system to register to and the user always have its own number with them.

But that would create disadvantages if you want to use internal twinning.
