THE ONLY ONE THAT I KNOW OF THAT CAN HELP YOU HAS A BANNER AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE, AND IF YOU ASK FLETCH REAL NICE HE MAY TELL YOU ABOUT THE POINTERS AND CALL REGISTERS

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

Fletch is heading out for a few relaxing weeks in Lake George and has put the books away. . . BUT . . .

I will tell you that the audit is cleaning up the switch. Something drastic happened (T1 dropped?) This should clear it self up after 10 minutes or so.

I see by the DTC002 you are running on the secondary clock. I'll bet you lost a span, and dropped a bunch of calls. Take a look at Loop 38 and see if things are OK there.(STAT and LCNT)

Your AUD335 are lost call registers floating around being killed.

I have a similar problem on an option 51c.

I keep getting AUD335 messages like this

AUD335 0 0 003FCA0C 00000C26 and then all zero's
AUD335 0 0 003FDE5C 00000C26 and then all zero's

I understand it is a lost call but I am getting 4, 5 or 6 of them on a contiueing basis.

Any ideas?

do a conv on 003f and 0c26, in ld 32, that one looks like a dtr, bad, test those.. any aud or err codes, at the > prompt

>err aud335... will give you a ballpark pointer to the problem

read fletch's post very close. if you get groups, with unique tn's then check ld 60 stat, ssck 0, if your getting the same tn, look for a dtr, conf ckt etc. you should (may) get some dropped calls reports, but a lot of aud codes is the switch clearing reg's that are busy but not ref in a connect table.. another thing i have used for trouble shooting, when you get a flood, and don't see lcnt errors, scpu, see if that is side related, tod related, something in common. bad news is that the switch is trying to "hint" that you have a problem, ignore enough hints and she'll tell you a lot louder. When I conv 003f I get error npr601
(tried several variations)
When I conv 0c26 I get 12 0 9 2

The problem is that 12 0 9 is an empty slot. Never has been configured. Never had a card installed.

almost all your aud codes are mem, instead of port addresses, from the switch conv that is a little eaiser to read, this is the 1st one i saw that might be a pointer

.conv 341d
=> 052 0 07 01

and that doesn't look like a trouble area, have you tested dtr, conf ports?

I am not an expert at this so I am not sure how to do the test you suggested. I had nortel training 10 years ago and have mostly been doing moves, add and changes via MAT software. Can you give me a brief description?

I do appreciate your help. I am trying to nurse the system until it is replaced in about a month.

Thanks

depending on what release you are on there are patches for the AUD335 errors on Nortels website.
check LD 34 for testing DTR and LD 38 for testing conf.
