Trying to create a decimal field in a table
(real advanced rocket science, this!)

Create a field as
Number
Field size: decimal
Format: fixed
Precision: 2
Decimal places: 2

In datasheet view this displays two places eg -2.00

But entering a number with decimal places simply truncates to a whole number eg
enter 2.7 displays 2.00
enter 4.2 displays 4.00

Any offers?

Go into Table Design and change the settings under Decimal datatype so that the SCALE = 4. This controls the number of digits that can be accepted and stored on the right side of the decimal petersdaniel@hotmail.com
