I have a field set as a decimal data type. However, when I update the field with a calculation, (A+B+C+D)/E - these letters are fields, it does not show as a decimal.

Example - (2+5+9+0)/3 - should equal 5.33, it is calculating as just 5.

Is there something I am missing that I would need to do in my update?

Thank you!

I figured it out - the scale on the data type needs to be set as well. I just thought it was the precision.
