debug messages

Here is a simple one that I know you guys know.

When I telnet into our Cisco router running IOS 11.2 and I try to degug something, the debug messages do not appear. There is some command that turns that on. What is that?

 

[mildmanrd]

terminal monitor

 

[wybnormal]

Or you can dump it to the log and then to a syslog program somewhere on the network for a paper copy. Useful at times.
