I am looking for debian drivers for an adaptec 2940U2W controler card. Adaptec states that this card will work with SCO and SCOWare, but so far I can't find any Debian drivers for this card. I am looking for any sort of resource site that might have linux and unix drivers all around

I just did a quick Google, and all the references I could find say that you should use the Adaptec Aic7xxx driver.

It appears from what I have read that the driver should already be included in Debian.

I also found this comment on the Debian site relating to an earlier version :-

"The current boot kernel has a known problem with AIC7xxx-based SCSI cards, such as the Adaptec AHA-2940. In some cases, adding the boot arguments aic7xxx=no_probe has worked around the problem. Hopefully, this problem will be fixed soon."

Hope this helps.
