Hi all.
I am upgrading my old pc with some new hardware, this is what I using:
Asus a7n8x-deluxe mobo
AMD Athlon XP 2100+
PNY PC2100 Memory
NVidia TI 4200
300W Power Supply
I install the mobo, processor, RAM, and video. I flip the switch, and nothing happens. Fans do not spin, nada, but power is going through the board (the mobo has an LED indicating power is going through).
I put my old 185 watt power supply in my computer to test things out and without even pressing the "on" button, my fans starting spining, but there is no video, beep code, etc.
Would it be safe to conclude that my 300 watt power supply is dead?
Thanks
