Got a digital port on a combo card (BD1-6, BP7-8, ATM9-12). Had a phone plugged in to BD-5 and it worked fine. Phone was in wrong port, moved to correct port. Plugged in the correct set to BD-5 and now nothing. I get battery, but no phone will work on it. A soft reboot of the system did nothing. Is there anywhere that can put the port in a maintenance status, or disabled? Or should I try a cold boot via the power cord?

Thanks.

Try power cord. if that doesn't work replace the Combo card

A port stops working when there is a short circuit so are you sure the cable is ok ?

Did the first phone upgrade on that port ?

What phone's do you use ?

honey, i fried the IP Office !!!

Sarcasm, it's only one of the services I offer.

I can plug the phone into another port and it comes up just fine. Cable is fine, but doesn't matter because I plugged directly into the port on the IPO.

Hi tlpeter..long time reader, first time poster !
I had a similar issue with Base Cards using 6408s. After a lot troubleshooting realized that only certain sets worked on certain cards. (IP500v2 DS8 & combos) Also noticed in SSA some showed as 9610s instead of 6400s ?!? Ever heard of this...is this what you were getting at when you asked DBrewsky what type of sets they were using ?

Thx all,
