Dead Keyboard Port?

I just installed a new (used) motherboard. Everything powered up fine but, for some reason, the keyboard port is not working. I've tried different keyboards (including one that works fine on my roommate's PC) but nothing seems to work. Any ideas on what I can try? If the port is dead, is there anything I can do to replace it?

Thanks a lot.

Your best bet would be to try a USB keyboard. Phyisically replacing a port on a mb would be near impossible, even for the designer.

Some have a fuse. Other than that, nothing you can do except get another M/B.
Using a USB keyboard is dependent on that capability in the BIOS, and you probably don't have it.
