Hello,

What does everyone use for maintaining DDI blocks and the mapping against internal extensions etc? I've been trying to get away from spreadsheets and am yet to find anything. Anyone any ideas?

Pete

The tools at your disposal, would very much depend on what type and what size of system you have. On PBX systems you can usually list out unused numbers and compare them to your range of available DID/DDI numbers to find a number to program. Not as easy on a key system. So give a little more information on the type and size and you may get a few more ideas.

Its from a Cisco 2921 Voicegateway, VG224 Analogue Gateway and CUCM 8.5 multiple clusters / gateways servicing about 500 users in 6 sites.

I know listing out the numbers used in CUCM is easy but it doesnt stop someone from allocating a number thats not on the CUCM such as analogue line or ISDN line.

I've asked about such a thing here on the solarwinds forums but no other users seem to have come across anything.

Solarwinds were interested to hear my requirements etc
