As we all know, with IP office we can configure DDI when using ISDN lines. Our provider is providing me with a 5 (fixed) and 3 (random) numbers. From the incoming call route I can set up that from Line group 0 I receive a call destinated to 12345 201 I can send it directly to an internal extension (for example ext 201) and this is the benefit of DDI, it is like providing personal privtae numbers to all individuals.
With 3 combinations I have 1000 numbers and I can match them with any internal extension.
This setup makes me shoot some questions to whoever can answer them.
Can I assign a DDI to a huntgroup?
Can I assign a DDI to call directly to an extension on another remote system connected via SCN?
When I call outside from my extension which has a DDI number, and the provider is telling me that I can show the full DDI number, can the IP Office do the job? (i.e. if the 5 fixed numbers are 12345 and my extension is 208, when I call someone outside does he find my full number 12345208 on the display CLI?)
Thank you for the patience!
