Who can explain this to me:
In our multiple site forrest (1 subdomain - 3 sites) we are running the DCDiag tool preventively to keep close track of possible replication issues.
When automating this procedure I stumbled on this:
The dcdiag command I'm using:
dcdiag.exe /s:ForrestRootServer /u:EnterpriseAdmin /p:EntAdminPassword /c /e /v
Output:
Everything Fine, All test Passed
When outputting the dcdiag output to a logfile:
dcdiag.exe /s:ForrestRootServer /u:EnterpriseAdmin /p:EntAdminPassword /c /e /v /f:\dcdiaglog\dcdiag.log
The logfile says that for every DC in the subdomain the Advertising test(and only that one) is failed.
I run the command from the Forrest Root Server (W2K3)
Somebody a clue?
Please tell me if I'm wrong I like to learn from my mistakes...
