DCDiag Prep for Exchange 2003: Directory Binding Error 5 Access Denied

Hi all,

I've got Win Server 2003 Enterprise installed in VMWare and I'm in the process of installing Exchange 2003. I've got all the services installed and running and after running DCDiag I get a couple of errors.

This is the only server running, I'm not very familiar with it and it's only currently for experimental\testing purposes.

Can anyone help me resolve this?

After looking at and clearing all the Event logs I rebooted and re-ran DCDiag. The Bind error was the same but the systemlog error changed to this

I checked the Event logs again and there are a couple of warnings about MSDTC under Application logs.
A few Print error messages and and Application Popup error under System logs.
An error in the DNS Server log: Event 6702. It says "if this DNS Server does not have any DS-integrated peers, then this error should be ignored" I'm assuming that as this is the only server, this error can be ignored?

I tried moving forward and when to the ForestPrep stage and when I ran the ForestPrep I get an error saying "Microsoft Exchange Server has a known compatibility issue with this version of Windows. For more information, refer to

I looked at the info there, didn't really help and also found this info

but that relates to Win Server SP1 and Exchange 2003 SP1 but I have SP2 installed on the server.

The website also suggests clicking 'Continue' but this is greyed out and I only have an option to cancel and then I can't get any further with the installation?
