I just bought a used cisco 1900 switch for my home lab. Apparently it uses a DC power supply (which I don't have). I have many questions!
How do I get one? What kind do I get? How much should it run? How do I hook it up?

Thanks in advance!

Are you sure there is not an AC power connection? DC power is usually connected to an external redundant power supply.

If there is no AC power jack, please post the actual model number. There is a version of the 1900 intended for cell sites that only has a DC power souce. More info about this variant is at

It is a model# WS-C1924-EN-DC

I got it off ebay and I received it with a regular power cord, but no dc power supply. How in the world do I get one?

Thanks
