DBM initialization error

Hi guys

I have some problem with my logger ver9.1.09. There is an error saying fatal "DBM initialization error". I've read from NICE document inform the error could be from the audio database. If I reinstall the logger software without deleting the audio files, will the error disappear? Another thing is I'm unable to see the DVD achiving device when I open up the Backup window in the NICE administrator. It seems it is unable to detect the dvd ram drive when I rebooted the system.

Hi There,
It sounds as though the audio database is corrupted, the only way around this is to reinstall the logger SW and delete the audio DB. If the system could see the DVD drive you would have been able to manually archive the old audio off as a backup. However now it means you will probably lose all audio on the recorder. Sorry

Thanks for your tip, ya you're right it seems the logger software is corrupted, I've already re-installed the logger software and all is normal again.
