Hi,

I’m really stuck at one point in designing a database for an university assignment, and was wondering if anyone can please help me. I am using Delphi 7, to create a Standard database, using the Paradox driver.

When setting up a form, I cannot get a DBLookupComboBox to work. Specifically, when I run the program, the little arrow on the drop-down box is greyed out, and therefore one cannot select anything. Enabled is set to True for the DBLookupComboBox. I have pointed it to a Data Module with all the correct data sources and list sources etc, but I cannot find my fault.

Has anyone got some tips for me, like checking something I left out? (cureently checking FAQs)

cheers

Put some more details, this way it is hard to find out what is going on. Check out the FAQ's about look-up data in the FAQ area.

I think maybe you missed out the value for the DBLookupComboBox's keyfield. Try checking that out if you've set the DataSource, DataField, ListSource and ListField. Hope this helps. :)
