We have IP extensions running on a MX-ONE MD110 BC13. We are using the config file for DBC42X. Why can I log any DBC4422 OK, but can't log a DBC4425 on.
I have checked in the settings on the handset & the IP addresses & the VLAN address have been found from the DHCP server & the handset asks for you to log in with?. I then enter the extension number & about 15 - 30 seconds later it comes back with log in with?
As the config file appears to be generic for any DBC42X, what would the problem be?

check the DBC version of the phone. if it ends with a 01, you'll need other firmware/config file.

The easiest method to see what's going on is to do a wireshark trace on the webserver (or via a hub on the phone)

Thanks Whosyourdaddy,

I have tried both, a version 01 & a version 02 DBC4425. I will trie to get a trace & then maybe we can see what's going on.
