DBC-225 in EMG (DNA5.1) on BC11 SP12.

Hello.

Why can i not see the DBC-225 TYPE (4225) in the EMG
then i am initiating new extensions. I can
see the TYPE DBC-223

I am running BC 11 SP12 and DNA5.1

Unfortunately, this model works only in BC12 not in BC11 with any SP.

OK, but since we can't upgrade to BC12 due to the fact what BC12 isn’t approved for Solidus E-care 2.1, we will have to wait until we are running Solidus 4.0 in spring-04.

Is a workaround available?

Petrnik : New DBC22x phones are supported from BC11SP12.

normally DNA5.1 shouuld known new DBC22x extensions.

if this is not the case, check under DNA_S\EMG\DEF directory on the Dna_server for BCB22x_BC11.DEF files. if this is not the case you can copy them from BC12.
example : copy BC222.def to DBC222_BC11.def. this way you'll see them in the list.

DBC222&223 but not DBC225. There is not even ITYPE for DBC225 in BC11SP13.

Thanks for the tip. I have now renamed dbc225x to dbc225x_BC11 but i can still not see the dbc225 via EMG.

As PetrNik was writing, ITYPE doesn’t go further than ITYPE=32 in EMG but you can choose up to 37 in the MD110

Are there some ITYPE settings on the server that I must change too?

Okay, I see the problem. But our dealer, Ericsson has terminated down the DBC213 and replaced it with the DBC225. Here at Carlsberg we have received 50+ of those DBC225 and we there told that they were god for BC12 sp12.
I just tried the KSCAC ITYPE=33 via MML an that doesn’t work.

So now I have to get some answer from Ericsson.

I know, but people using EMG will not see the right layout!

Yes i know.
The right key row will
be reflected as the 223's extra key panel .
So having access to the keys it must be entered
as a 223 with one key panel .
