dbase5 for dos and lexmark printer not printing

I can't get my Lexmark Z43 printer to print from dbase. I have set the printer up to handle DOS programs but to no avail. Any suggestions?

do the following

_PDRIVER = "ASCH1"
SET PRINTER TO <file>.TXT

run print program

RUN COPY <file>.TXT LPT1
