Hi All
DbaseV has been starting and running on Windows XP professional machine but now when dbase is started the op system runs straight back to Windows. We have tried to rectify by a) altering swap file level and b) turning the swap file off but no go. We have reinstalled dbase.exe and the config.nt and autoexec.nt files, without success.
Has anyone got any other (polite) suggestions please....

If it's started from an icon, have you checked the path properties?

Have you tried using explorer to start "dbase.exe"?

Did you run a virus scan?

Oops, I just read your other post where you indicate you did have a virus.

If you are certain that the recovered exe is virus free, you may want to still check the icon properties and verify the paths.
