Does anyone know the pinout scheme to go from serial DB9(POS Terminal) to rj45 ethernet (through structured cabling to back of house jack) and back to parallel DB25 on my kitchen printer (epson TM80)??? I can't bridge the gap without going through ethernet, and I drove all over town trying to find the correct adapters, with no luck! I figured I would just try to make some cables/adapters.

thanks!

You can try this, but not sure what kind of terminal you have.

thanks - it's a P1510 term. But how do I pin the RJ45 connections between the other two ends? It currently uses a null modem cable, but I have to integrate ethernet between them now...

I'm pretty sure it's a different pinout for Radiant's. It's best to buy (RJ45) to (Serial/LPT) pinout adapters that allow you to change around the pins, but I couldn't tell you where to find them. I'm sure someone on here can give you the correct pinout for Radiant terminals.

I believe you can get these on cyberguys.com. Search for modular connector. Hope this helps.

Thanks! Found the info, and got 'er connected! You guys rock -
