Hi,
My Crystal report was designed and runs correctly in CR 8.0. The report uses a DB2 native driver to connect to the DB2 database. The report is selecting all the fields in a large DB2 table (251 fields).

This same report does not run correctly in CR 9.2 using the DB2 native driver to connect to the database. The message [crw32.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. ]
appears OR Crystal Reports closes down completely without a message.

If I change the method of data connection from the DB2 native driver to the ODBC RDO driver, the program runs correctly in 9.# without incident.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this to happen?

Thank you for your time,
alrt

I had the same problem with Oracle when I created a report with 525 data fields using native driver. The report never ran on my PC but ran OK on CE9.

with ODBC it is running fine. Also with ADO(OLEDB) connection it runs fine.

The crystal elite support team still working on this issue.
