Db Links String to Number 1

Hi List,

I have tried to search the archives for this but can't find the answer.

I'm trying to link two tables from the same database but the fields I am linking are different data types, i.e. String and Numeric. Crystal does not allow me to link the two fields.

Is there any way to link the two fields? Or will I have to think of some other way to fetch the information I need from the second table?

Use a record selection formula such as:

{Table1.text_cust_id} = ToText({table2.num_cust_id},0,'')
