Is there a patch to cover the change in DST on the Mitel 3300s? If it's done manually, do you have to fix it again when last years DST date comes around?
The time must be set manually unless you have Enterprise Manager with the OPSMan application which can then be scheduled to set the time and observe DST.

Miss that though, and you're pretty much doomed!
This is one of the many benefits of Ops Manager. Since the PBX clock (esp the 2K) normally has some drift to it I have a nightly task in Ops Manager to resynch the time every day at 03:00. It's amazing the number of complaints you get when the time displayed on the phone is off by a minute or two.
Not only that but the Emgr / Opsmgr server can be configured to Time Sync thru Windows with a Internet Time Server. The time on the phone becomes accurate to within 1 second.
I needed to do a CCS trace from multiple systems to isolate a disconnect issue and the traces were in perfect sync right down to the second.

Will I have to do another manual update when last year's date rolls around this year?"
Since it doesn't look like this was answered correctly, are you asking will you have to adjust the time again, when the "normal" time change date arrives?
The answer to that is no, the 3300 will *never* change time on it's own. It always needs to be done by an outside source, either a human from the Group Admin tool, or via Ops/Entman.
There is a number of options for migrating from a legacy ICP controller (i.e. there are going to be a few solutions come up where you can run on standard PC hardware). I can not comment on those, other then to say it's going to be good.
