Dave! Old! Flash sound disappearing act 2

Hi guys,

I'm having a little problem and was wondering if you could take a look at this url, if you have the time and desire to do so, of course.
Here is the problem : we've made a flash film for a client and when we look at it on our MACs everything is fine and the sound plays ad nauseum. Now, my clients tell me that on their pc"s the sound plays once, when they click on the link, and then no matter what, they cannot make the sound play again, even if they cut and paste the url! I'm at a loss. Any idea?? Do you encounter the same problems as them on your pc"s?

PS and while you're at it, would you mind terribly to click on the flash film and tell me if the nav bar that is on top of the home page, is perfectly aligned with the bottom of the frame?

same thing here pbb..works fine the first time..close and re-open, no sound on intro..makes no sense..nice work though..very well done..but the sound ie definetly gone upon re-opening the page..i'm on pc..

Désolé mais... qui voudrait entendre ce son là ad nauseam ou nauseum de toute façon?
Effectivement, ce son horrible ne joue qu'une seule fois, sur PC avec IE 5.5. Refresh, shift Refresh n'y changent rien!
De plus, le son ralentit terriblement le graphisme. En deuxième passe, sans son c'est finalement beaucoup plus sympa!
Quant à NS4.76, c'est déjà mieux! Curieusement, ici la musique continue jusqu'à ce que je clique pour visiter le site et de plus, j'entends "Alba digital recording" ce que je n'ai jamais entendu avec IE! Bizarre! Ça doit être l'effet Mac!

Quant à ta deuxième question, je ne la comprend pas!
J'ai un scrollbar horizontal avec les deux navigateurs et le graphisme semble enligné avec ce dernier... Mais autrement, que veux-tu savoir exactement?

Le menu a de plus des comportements bizarres!

i have a question..the buttons on that site on roll over plays a movie clip..how do you do that..and how do you create a tween like the one from the buttons on roll over to the speaker..and old what was her problem in english so i can understand why it happened..please kind sir

C'est beaucoup mieux que la premiere fois (avec IE)... peut-être est-ce le rhum des Antilles ou ma connexion? Mais toujours pas de répétition de la musique(???) si je refresh!
Avec NS pas de problèmes!

Virt, I was only badly commenting on the music... In the style "who would want to hear that music repeat anyway?"
Seems worst... Though, expressed in English than French, though Pat might disagree!
The music doesn't repeat for me in IE. Curiously it does with NS.
MC is probably a morph on those buttons...

Still wondering about curious navigation on this menu!

Virt,
in the roll over state there a movie clip that contains the door opeing movement and the morphing. Inside that movie clip there is another movie clip that has the sequence of the bipmap. In the up state there is a duplicate of the closed door and the words (only in the up state) Then all of that is put on the stage over a white band that has holes in it that correspond to the windowns. The up state is what allows us to see the closed doors and the button name when when are not rolled over. When we roll over we move off the up state to the over state that plays the movie clip that has been lined up to the static up state. The morphing exists only in the movie clip, not on main time line.
Sorry, not to be more dissert but I've got to fix my sound problem tonight!
To answer your Qustion, Old, I'm not the one who wants the sound to play in a loop, it's my client decision.
As far as the nav bar of the home page, can you tell me what the "comportements bizarre" are s'il te plait? Merci

Toujours la même chose! Une fois sur la page principale, s'il y a un retour... Pas de musique! Avec IE!
Do you use Stop All Sounds at one point?
Quant au fonctionnement du menu...
Photo tour -> Page blanche... c'est tout!
About us -> fonctionne mais pas le Photo tour qui me ramène à la page blanche!
Et le reste des items -> Page not found!

Quant à ton explication à virt, donnes-moi vite le nom de votre fournisseur... Vous semblez être sur une autre totale longueur d'ondes! (Comme j'imagine ce texte à travers un "French translator&quot

i was asking her about the movie clips on rollover in her buttons..but i just now figured out how it was done..i am becoming quite the expert these days ya know..i will one day soon be classified as a true flasher!!

No, no stop all sounds. The sound file has a 15 times loop.
Menu : yes, I should have told you that only the "About us" and "meet our staff" pages were ready. Sorrrrrrrry

Sorry about the lack of clarity for the explanations earlier on. I'm just too freaked out about that sound problem.
By closed doors, I meant the little windows that correspond to the different categories on the navigation bar. And they are closed when they have the name of the categories on them, and opened when the movie clip plays, on rollover.
